1. How long does it take for the axolotl to grow?
2. How big was the lake in Mexico where the axolotls used to live?
3. What states can the axolotl live in? (Where are they besides Mexico?)

6. What is it called when they don't really grow up?
Biologist - your blog
- What are the five most important things somebody would want to know that has not ever heard of an axolotl?
- What other animals is it related to?
- What are the life stages like and how does it compare to a normal tiger salamander found in WI?
- How have humans effected them?
Geneticist - your blog
- Do a color inventory of the axolotls (results on blog).
- Use Punnet squares to determine what genotype and phenotype the parents may have been
- Regular research work if you finish early.
- A list of color types with pictures to match on your blog
Historian - your blog
- Look at the slides below of Aztec art samples of an axolotl. Make your own art using Sketchbook Pro (an a stylus). Take a screen shot and put this on your blog if you finish.
- If you finish early, you may do more art or continue your normal historian research.
- Human impact on the axolotl.
- Lake Xochimilco past and now comparing
- How the axolotl was a part of the Aztec culture.
Veterinarian - your blog
- Check the brine shrimp sample.
- Feed the axolotls.
- Prepare "safe" water for the axolotls to be infused into their tank.
- Add work to your blog including observations, pictures
- Continue your blog work on the "how to" of feeding and caring for axolotls.
