3rd Grade Calcite Challange

1.Identify which rocks match these species. Take a photo of your sheet after identification.

• feldspar
• granite
• fluorite
• Basalt
• Calcite
• Gypsum
• Limestone

2. Copy the list to your blog and have it ready.

3. When ready, begin acid testing your samples to see if it contains calcite (it will create bubbles of CO2)

4. Post your results (maybe a screenshot or two)
