4th Grade Science in the Movies

1. Pick a special effect that matches your scientific topic.

2. Make a list of supplies needed for this effect.

3. Browse movie trailer types.

4. Decide on a trailer type. (this should be posted publicly so we don't have too many repeats)

5. Storyboard the entire trailer. (Done on large white paper)

• How will your clips progress? (beginning, middle, climax, end)
• Where will each person be for the clips?
• Where will your effect(s) be?
• Where will green screen effects be used?
• Be aware of how much time you have on each trailer clip, some are longer than others.
• Be specific of what goes in each clip area - can not create movie until this is done and cleared by a teacher.
