3rd Grade Waves

Parts of a wave:

Jobs:
1. Draw one even wave.
- What is the wavelength?
- What is the amplitude?

2. Draw a wave that has the same wavelength as number one but with a different amplitude.
- What is the amplitude now?

3. Draw a wave with the same amplitude as number 2 but has a different wavelength.
- What is the wavelength?

Soooo. . .Not hard enough for you huh?

4. Draw a wave that has the same wavelength but the amplitude increases equally as it travels along the line.

5. Draw a wave where the amplitude AND wavelength increase in equal measurements.

6. OK, this one is practically impossible.
- Draw a wave on top of another wave that has exactly half the wavelength and amplitude as the other wave. This would look cool in different colors. Here is the catch. You need to add some more waves (with different colors) and write the equation for those waves. Here is an example:
Wave 1 = A and W
Wave 2 = 2A and 2W
Wave 3 = .5A and 3W
